BT/Openreach made some small(ish) damage to my external render wall. 11 year old house. damage is 10cm circle and 3cm deep.

I need to find a render repair company (seems difficult to find/get quotes). I am in Basingstoke.

The render could be Weber Monocouche or K-rebd or....?? Not sure. I rang house builder (Miller). They could not give an exact answer but said Weber and K-rend were usual options. It seems this level of detail doesn't appear in house specifications.

Looking for advice and quotes please.

Thanks, Tim

Hi. Thanks. I could not login in with std account...PWD reset sent no email so had to set up this one but I am original poster.

Here is a picture of the damage. Quite small really. Could say f it and get someone to put concrete but thinking about a proper job kinda.

If it’s Weber you’ve got the best it’ll be fine
Thanks Vincent. Just checking...are you saying my render is so good I don't need to repair it ?...I kinda get that I probably want to repair it. Any takers ?

BT should have drilled from outside in and not blown your render…fukcing numpties!

I’ve done similar in my youth. Think most people do it once?
Had an SDS drill out and these office guys said “can you drill some holes through the external wall to let air in to cool our computer tower cupboard. Just do it roughly as we are getting a big vent fitted”
Me “I’ll grab my cape and sort you out sharpish”
Now this posh office block was in north London and I was about for or five floors up. I’m drilling through the wall rough monkey style and these men come in and say “what the f@&£ are you doing?”
Me “nothing to do with you”
Them “well all the bricks are falling on our cars below you t**t”
:inocente:

Yeah my bro said about the drilling from inside too. Openreach numpties indeed. Openreach want a quote to pay up. Almost tempted to do give them a whole house re-render quote (only way to colour match)...not sure they'll buy that though
