For those wondering how the Gov't will get their money back.

HMRC have said that anyone who's having regular Covid 19 tests for their job supplied by their employer or main contractor will be taxed on it as it's a 'benefit in kind'.

If they're going that far now, just imagine what the new tax rules will be next year.

As I predicted some time back people that have been working from home rather than the office will be a permanent move as apparently it’s been a great success! As i also predicted (y) So lots of money saved and made due to lockdown I should of been a soothsayer

Smoothsayer?

Seems OK to me...we got the grant and have to pay tax on it. Those in comfy jobs who are at home on full pay have felt no pain throughout this ordeal...time for the pain to be distributed

The people who give the results are actors it’s a conspiracy theory but I’m pretty sure there’s man lizards trying to take over the world and kill us off! I haven’t taken my tinfoil hat off all weekend it’s lonely under the stairs

I don't mean the people on furlough facing possible redundancy..i mean the civil servants and govt employees and those who have been told to "cough" work at home for 4 months on full pay then come back to work your jobs safe types.

I'd do same if was on payroll 4 government.id be well shafting the system but thats just lil old me

I would say that if it is a necessity of the job to be tested then it should come under the same umbrella as PPE which, is vat free. Afterall it is a h&s issue as well as a public health one so, I would imagine large companies will try and challenge this in the courts depending on the financial burden it places on them.
