Dealing with wooden corner beads when skimming

The Tryer

Hi. Im a regular DIYer but a relative novice to plastering. I need to skim 2 areas.. a chimney breast which has Victorian wooden corner beads.. 90 degree ones and the walls around a bay window where the angles into the bay are more than 90.degrees.
What type of bead should i replace the wood with on the non 90 degree angles if I take them out and backfill. I know if i skim over it will likely crack. Or is there a magic alternative?
They are not fancy bull nose beads.
Any advice gratefully received.

No magic alternative.
Take out timber., Bed out with bonding to form angle, then round off edge. Fix timber door stop plumb on one side, fix with bed of skim. Skim one side, after set, complete other side, working to plaster edge.
Use small piece DPC (plastic) or edge of paddle brush, to go up and down edge to round off corner.
Leave to dry and use sand paper on corner to round off to required curve.
