Hi Guys

I have a small dashing job to do and it needs to be white render and black and white spar.

Just thought can I use bagged render instead of s&c as I cannot be arse batch mixing and using the lime. Have any of you used the bagged stuff and is it ok to dash on as I have not used it before ?

Cheers

You can get a specific dash receiver though I haven't used it myself so can't comment on its workability.

Used one years ago that was white called 'MR' was made in St. Helens from memory. Great stuff!
Don't know of any now, the only dash 'receiver' like what kgreigh mentions that I've seen is for wet dashing

mr alumasc dash receiver is top quality. mr of birkenhead. once you have rendered the wall leave it for a while before you dash. for a white spar we use a calcium flint

I use K Rend dash receiver. Nice to use. 1 bag to 2.5m2 maybe a bit more if your scratch coat is flat, flat.

Cheers guys will get some k-rend sorted, would weber have one ? as I know one local place that stocks weber renders.
