First things first. Why do pe think that board adhesive is made if bonding is suitable for fixing boards? Secondly, if you are told whoever is in charge to use the wrong materials either get it in writing or make sure you have a witness to the discussion and make sure you tell them it’s wrong. Thirdly, if it’s a domestic job, do you really want to risk your reputation? We are only as good as our last job. Fourthly, who in their right minds wants to waste bonding with the current shortage of it?

So why is board finish still available if multi is supposedly suitable for boards?
board finish isn't just exclusively for plasterboards, (even though the name of it suggests that it is) it's suitable for all low suction backgrounds which is what plasterboard is....board finish sets a little bit quicker than multi.

Exactly, smelly. The amount of so called spreads that don’t know that is shocking.
