Cutting concrete

Ok, I will be floor-mounting my new G70. The problem is, the floor in my theater is concrete and I don't have the ceiling height to construct a raised floor.

So that I can hide the cables, I want to run PVC tubing on the concrete floor.

So... How do I go about cutting a 12' long 3" wide 3" deep channel in the concrete floor? Is there any way I can accomplish this

without using a water-cooled diamond-tipped blade? Once I get the channel cut and pvc installed, what type of cement should I

use to fill in the gaps?

Without a diamond tip blade you're gonna struggle to get it done neatly ?
Unless you've got an industrial lazer cutter maybe.
Or acid to scrape layers over a long period ?
Thunk out of the box there, but gonna need a bigger box ? :coffe:

So you're asking plasterers about cutting concrete? Duh?
What have you got against the proper way, using a rental wet blade concrete cutter? any way you do it there will be mess, fact of life.
Or you could do what I did to cut a garden path - 12" disc hand disc cutter, lots of noise, dust and time (use mask, ear protection and safety glasses).
You either make several 12' lengthwise cuts 3" deep then smassh it with a sledge hammer and chisels, or cut a big deep V with a little space at the bottom for cable - then smash it with the aforementioned sledgehammer.

And you back fill the hole with more proper concrete not some poofy mortar that will crack and fail quite quickly.

Thespians huh?
