Courses on diff plastering methods?

Was browsing through various discussion threads and there seems to be alot of day courses on different aspects of plastering?. Are inexperienced plasterers or no experience at all falling for these courses at extortionist rates and claiming our 'art' as their job title?:RpS_lol: mayb ive taken this up wrong.

Personally i find im always learning the trade 11 years on, with new materials, machines etc being implemented.


Ive never seen the marble plaster being done, looks a great finish.

Technology moves on all the time. There are always new methods and materials to learn about.

I just get fed up of having to buy all these new tools that I didn't need 10yr ago whilst earning less money than 10yrs ago!!! I don't get this plastering malarkey anymore!!!

Lol I have been having tig welding lessons with a friend and I love it and going to go and do a course to ger certified damn coursers ;-) mind you mine is for a venture I am getting started in soon
