hello all
I was just wondering if any of you guys who are competent plasterers have been on any courses such as goldtrowel etc to brush up on /learn any new tecniques.I have been running my own buisness for 2 years now and would say i was above average <dont we all ;D> but always curious as to how to improve my tecnique as ive yet to see 2 plasterers lay on /trowel up the same ?

Not really sure that you need a course as such, watch what others do, try the method/s they use and see which you feel most comfortable with. It's also worth saying at this point not to use the bad methods that they use. I've been spreading for 30 years + now and I still pick up new tips and tricks but unfortunately at my time of life I tend to forget them the next day!!!!!

If you do decide to attend a course avoid "ABLE SKILLS" like the plague!
