Concrete barge to block

Hello there
I've concrete barges on new build. The walls have been scudded already. My question is do I need a mesh ran from blockwork to under concrete barge to prevent cracks ?
If so can I mesh over the scudd ?
The intended finish is
scudd coat
sand and cement scratch coat.
K rend finish.
