Colouring pva

@Fatarm has it right. Alternatively, get a test pot thingy of a coloured emulsion ( not white, t**t).......bung it in a gallon of pva, shake well and off you go.....I've used a light green before and none bled through the skim, I did let the pva dry overnight though. ;)
 
I have never had the issue of missing areas with PVA.... you cam always see where it has been anyway :D
 
what is the best way to colour it so I don't miss the wall
Grit it instead better key for skimming on a reskim I know a couple of decent spreads had to go back to jobs as a steamer lifted their work off after y months or so I've gritted for over 2 years touch wood no come backs as yet
