Got an old fireplace in the new gaff. Been cleaning it up and tackled the heart tonight. Its uneven to **** with brickS. Lifted one out and realised that the back section isnjust hollow and goes down a few feet… mainly filled with dust.. The ground floor house is a concrete floor built 1880. Just fill it in? Will upload a pic / video
