Cleaning Nela s*p*r*lex

I like to clean my MT's by giving them a soak in water to loosen of the silt build up, hearing about the adhesive coming away from the blades, does anybody know if its ok to use this way with a Nela?

I have done @Olican s trick,soak in bi carb and water I've done it several times and had no problems.they should be fine.

I was worried about soaking mine so I just give it a rub down with 600 grade wet and dry....

Shouldnt need to clean them at all really except wipe with a cloth maybe as they only used for final pass/cross trowel.
