Just finished a mono job in caulk, finished nicely and the customer is happy, but while re-attaching the down pipe a small amount of red brick dust has spilled out onto the new render.

My thinking was to let the render dry fully over a week/few days and and brush out with a small paint brush.

If this doesn't work, is their any other methods to get the dust off.

Thanks in advance.

Ps scratched up yesterday and put downpipe back today.

I use a hose pipe but you could try after wetting it some hand wash wool detergent.

Thanks all, I was tempted to spray it with water but with it being a damp night and freshly scraped, finished at 8pm last night I didn't want to ruin the finish.

Thanks again,

Chris

yes it was cold and damp in our neck of the woods yesterday. Sprayed ocr by 10,30am and still wet a 6pm.
