Does anyone check cavitys for rubble or if they have have cwi fitted?
Am only asking this because I was asked by another contractor
Personally I have never checked

Honestly....... no.

ive installed 2 i think with cavitys. and it was build regs for upgrade on the refurb so down to builder really..

I think it would only matter if there's signs of damp, so they want to make sure if there's nothing sits on the cavity tray to bridge maybe.

I've seen it on LinkedIn aswell
I would just say if the walls are dry internally you should be ok
I wouldn't be knocking holes in the walls to check

nope, worse case its blocked, how is any damp going to pass through eps insulation, its not.
