What are you guys getting from weber pral m next day scrape or same day with accelerator????
got some monocouche this week and next week just trying too sort timings out as don't want to get caught brown stuff.
Im hand balling not spraying if that helps?

That accelerator is supposed to give 20c performance at 5c. I have heard it does,t work that well. So rather than be scraping back in the dark I would go for overnight. Did one last Feb in Silver Pearl and put on for dinner hand ball and perfect next morning. About 6c in the day and 2c at night. Anyone in the Sheffield area wanting a unopened tub of accelerator half price give me a pm. Got some Ibrovit/Ibocar powder as well in 100g satchets.

At this time of year and temp.apply early pm. Scrape next day

bearing in mind an accelerator is just that, its not an anti-freeze so you need to be working in 5c and above.
this time of year your fine with over nights, tend to use accelerators around 10-12c plus when im looking for same day.

Ibocar is the powder. It is good when you want a 20 min set for such as sticking beads on same day or the dreaded crack repair. I wanted some for Webers crack repair method but had to buy a full bucket containing 10 x 2kg bags. Wanted a tablespoon full! Cost nearly £100.00. The Ibrovit 2 is a liquid accelerator and cost £90 odd quid with vat and delivery. Bought it for a job last feb then it got postponed till April so never used it. Only bought for a small job, to small to warrant traveling to Stoke for Envirowall mono. Finished up using Envirowall anyway.

It snowed heavy here in South Yorkshire last Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. I went passed a job on Sunday morning and 2 lads was scraping mono back? Must have been put on Friday morning before the snow came down heavy.

I wouldn't even consider a same day scrape just yet even with accelerator . Much better job spraying pm and scrape down next morning providing the temperature isn't too cold
