Celotex installation - is this right?

Hi,

I'm a long time lurker in the forums but now I have a question of my own. I've popped my head up in our newly created vaulted ceiling and I've found that the guys who insulated and boarded the ceiling have cut the corner back on the 125mm Celotex. This feels wrong to be as it has to be reducing the thermal properties and creating cold spots in the ceiling. Or am I missing something?

Thanks in anticipation.

Probably done to get over a problem, shite carpentry maybe? No one would go to the trouble of trimming off those edges so neatly for no reason.

Cocked up the angles somewhere else and shoved it in there - should've cut some wedges to put back in.

So you didn't check their work before handing over the readies?
