How did you do them before?

6x3 on own.

8x4 with someone else.

Don't bother with 8x4 anymore especially trying to get them upstairs, 6x3 12.5 and 2 board props one man job easy

I use board props on 2400/1200 if I can get the boards in easy if not the 1800/900 are easy.

props or a board lifter... both reasonably cheap and easy to use... or grow some legs and big arms

I'm a convert to 6x3's now. Job I'm on is using about 2 and a half per ceiling

I bought a board lifter on wheels for big job. But used it this week on a log cabin lid . Only good for empty room. Only takes five minutes to set up. Cost 130amozon. Think about your back.

I reckon 6x3 12.5mm better than the flimsy shitty 8x4s they’r knocking out

Had a chat with BG about saggy boards , turned out the knauf are more rigid from a blend of a silicate by-product from power stations and that BG pink core is pure gypsum

Agree there knauf normal board is like a fire line bg board
