I have a plaster ceiling rose to fix i know they have to be screwed as well but what do people use to stick them with nowadays aint done one for years.

I use cove adhesive & screws, but dab adhesive will do or even easifill, or tile adhesive :RpS_biggrin:

dab it baby, that way the dab can be used to fill the edge aswell. nice sponge round after. luvly. no need for screws...ask jj

Beddys rite you don't need screws Lucius just prop it up like JJ :RpS_biggrin:

Thanks boys was thinking dab or cove addy , i have some tile addy in the van but its grey Flinny, thinking about it there is cove addy on the job, sorted, cheers.

a smear of dri wall addy on the ceiling and the rose and itll be stuck straight away

Dri wall addy, smear on each, quick twist. Couple of screws for belt n braces. Have used artex before, worked ok.

I always use screws and tile adhesive, and if the centre is particulary heavy or large you can normally find at least one ceiling joist for a decent fixing.

If you use cove or dri wall it pays to seal the back of centre with diluted pva first
