On the top half of the side wall and back of house. Windows have been replaced at some point and just patched in with S&C.
PG would like smooth finish...bit more up to date etc. Hack off, go over?

Just let her get on with it

Can do both. If the dashing is sound and clean then go over but you may have to take the reveals off to keep some window frame exposed. Also consider do you have enough widow sill.

She lasted about an hour stripping paint off stairs.

'I'll finish it tomorrow'.

That was about 3 months ago!

Might be better with a base coat adhesive and mesh
