Can't send PM's

Ok I am new here, and I have posted in the plasterer (renderer) wanted section.

i have received a couple of PM's, of which I've been able to send 1 reply, but now when I go to send a message, it says I've not got those rights.

If this is because I have to have a certain post count, how am I meant to do that without meaninglessly posting/spamming random threads?

I think its 15... also the other person needs to be able to have the rights to receive as well
