Can you skim over ewi render base coat ?

Am doing a little concrete ceiling in a guys garage. Had some bags left over, I do know it sticks like s**t to a blanket so thought it would be ideal.

sounds like a lot of fecking about! just pva and skim.

He had a few leaks which he has sorted he requested a waterproof plaster he's a bit fussy. I have already base coated the ceiling and used the mesh which covered all the bumpy bits and made it flat.

I have skimmed over maite before which was primed with micro
Worked a treat

Some on here would skim over wood chip .

Why use multi if he wants it waterproof?
