Ok so floated the wall up as flat as they come but when skimming it(the next day) I must have got distracted, anyway I have a quiet a big bump skirting level. My question is how can I fix this, can I wet it up and scrape it flat? Any help will be appreciated mahousively... dreading the joiner coming to fit the skirting boards

Maybe post a picture?

If it’s a big bump that will throw the skirt out you might have to dub it out and skim

Don't worry if it's not sand and cement it will come off. You could make a blade from an old saw and chamfer the edge like a jointing tool used by fibrosis plasterers
