had some big ceilings to bond and skim over artext concrete wasn't looking forward to it thought I'd try the mix that I'd read on here worked a treat cut the time down by half easier to spread and less effort cheers

Used to call it window fitters mix round here. Haven't tried over artex yet. Nice job s61.
 
Hes a good man is @zombie one of the best tips I've been given hands down.

Plenty of people do it but zombies ratio is absolutely spot on. Most people I know do near enough half and half and don't seem to achieve much.

Yeah only for first coat....dead nice over artex...did it on a bathroom the other day that really needed a tight coat of bonding after tiles took off and it got it perfect without the prep nonsense
 
Would it fix this new studwork lol. this is the work that is accepted in Dublin. I just skimmed the c**t. Waste of time saying to the cowboy builder.

He was told it will crack like f**k. I was told to skim it he needs it finished yesterday lol I say yes boss have my money today b4 the wall collapses he started laughing. I told him am not joking. He paid me there and then. How lads like him get work is behind me.
