Tried this today and it was great. Over unpainted artex. About a fifth of the price of Stabilex.

it should be fine for distemper. went over it in an attic a few years back. got the whole ceiling on and then it just came off like a sheet. hate that stuff. hard to tell sometimes.

I use B&Q's own dilutes to make 5ltrs which is £11, might give this one a punt.

Yeah Bagrat told me about it. It's cheap. They do pva cheap and pre grit cheap as well. They've just started stocking Refina gear and have a good Marshalltown range. Loads of milwaukee tools. Could spend a fortune in there. Anything they have on their website if they haven't got it in stock they will get it for you the next day.
