hi guys i need some advice, ive got a job to do its blockwork, im gona use either bond it or hardwall as an undercoat, which would be best and how long do they both need to be left to go off before skimming over with multi finish?

cheers
Sean.

They did that on a school i did last year nick, i thought it was mental but it turned out fine.....As for your question sean bonding not bond-it is usually used on low suction backgrounds and applied thinner than hardwall and hardwall is used on blockwork at a depth of about 10-18mm but can be applied thicker, as for setting times hardwall is ok to skim on about an hour and a half well as soon as it starts to firm you can skim it same with bonding my advice would be to get it on as fast as you can rule it flat then devil float give it half hour then give the touch test.

all tiled walls in wakefield bus station tiled on blockwork thats one and only time ever seen it .whinging tilers didnt like it
