Got a gable to do this morning using a 15m + 5m on the Ritmo L. Material is Weber Pral.m in Chalk. Primed and got the consistency how we wanted it and started pumping it through the just pre wetted pipes with loads of Fairy in. 2m from the end and it blocked good and proper. Put the purge pipe up and wacked it with a hammer and after 20 minutes got the pipe freed and washed out.

Then came another problem, the materials in the r&s was blocked. tripped out the machine so we gave it a good kick, mashed up and cleaned the machine out and buggered off home as it was to late now for a same day scrape.

So what I am thinking is while we was trying to clean out the pipe would it have been a good idea if the Labradoodle turned the Ritmo motor on every couple of minutes or so to keep the R&S wet with with fresh stuff?

Having another go in the morning if everyone turns up being 'forgot about changing of the clocks' get out clause.

Thats a bad day mate , do you run the material through one pipe at a time ,then join them ?

That's bad luck mate, how much accelerator was in the mix to make it set in the r/s so quick?

Is it common for it to block when you add another 5m of pipe?

No, we pumped it through the whole length, so yes a good idea one pipe at a time. Not had a blockage for 3 years but that was Weber Chalk as well.

One hose at a time Rigsby and plenty of fairy, white is as course as it gets but seems to go off quicker to scrape.

Been using Kilsaran alately a lot creamier than the pral.m.

Got up at 5am on the job at 6 spraying at 6.30 and done for 10.

re-positioned the machine so only needed a 15m hose. Made the lab carry all the bags through the house, not a happy bunny! Sod him.

going back at at 2, hope it has gone off!

thats right wake everyone in the area up nice and early!
all pumps have a maximum that then can pump to, you where asking a lot from a small machine.

Got back at 1.30 and it was hard! It was facing the Derbyshire Moors and was a bit breezy. 5ltrs of speed up would have been plenty.
