Was fecking about on ebay and came across these boardmate things. Looked like they could come in handy so thought id post the link.

I just use 2 bits of 1/2 inch sarking board does the same thing and cost nowt

I scrim over screws when i overboard ceilings. I even paper taped them on one job when i wanted to be mega fussy.
