hello chaps
we've had some hardwall rapid set in pipes of the spray machine.we've cleaned the hopper and the gun ok.any sensible advice on how to clear them would be much appreciated.

Enter Blones. couple of choices.
Put it in a vice and crush the material then try and swill out
Hit it with a heavy hammer and try swilling it out
Drive over it with your van to crush it and swill it out.

We use a Parge hose which is a small bore rigid hose that can feed up the pipe and because the bore is so small it forms a jet to mole its way up
Essential kit

even if i do manage to clear the pipes will they be a write off? theres bound to be some hardwall left in there.

no they should be fine mate just be a bit carefull and watch your back pressure once it starts breaking out it should all come out fairly clean just keep crimping the pipes in your hands just to break it all up wash them through and run sponge balls through ....its gonna take a while though and its gonna be hard work how much pipe was it

you'll be leaving rock hard turds all over ur garden for days lol. 5m aint so bad tho

5 mts a peice of piss. really though the purge hose has been designed for it.
I spent nearly 8 hours trying to clean 15mts after silicone render froze and set in it.
I decided to teach myself the value of looking after the equipment. Woulda been a real bastad without the blue beryl

Ah see ime an expert at this, we had this happen in Cairo, we just threw it away, simple.

I remember taking over a screed job in south london a few years back, the gang you had been running the pump day before thy where thrown off ,left the pipes uncleaned. We hauled those big bas***ds up the scaff and thrashed them with lump hammers for a couple of hours.By the time they where clear i was too F***d to lay any floor:RpS_scared:
