Block wall

Hello

I have a new built breeze block garden wall that I would like to render, I would appreciate if someone could advise if base coat and mesh is needed or if I can i go straight on with the silicone render? product recommendations would be great

render on garden walls are always a problem. i would cover the wall in brick slips.

its nearly 100sqm so I could break up areas using brick slips or exterior cladding, but some areas would need rendering.

Just put the silicone texture straight onto the blockwork mate should be fine I do it all the time, @Tom81 might vouch for me

Could always screw some treated lath on and use feather edge boards.

Defo needs meshing. Or them gaps for windows

Wall needs a few things mate
1 a topper
2 damp course
3 spec from manufacturer which easy and free
4 a protective sealer
5 a good renderer

Lots of different viewpoints, with mesh without mesh, its hard to figure out the best option.

Don’t listen to @Tom81 hes a ruff c**t and charged you a fortune for it just put the texture straight onto the block work no need for mesh or render there trying to get more money on the job. That right Tom???? Lol
