Betokontakt and tape

Hello all, would appreciate some advice...

I'm doing a bathroom at the moment and have fitted Knauf Moisture Resistant Plasterboard. On the back it states to use Betokontakt, which I did... Not knowing really what Betokontakt was, other than it's purpose, I incorrectly assumed I should do this before taping the joints.

About 5 minutes into applying the Betokontakt, it was obvious that taping and jointing is no longer viable, so I'm now going to do a full plaster skim - not the end of the world as arguably it's a tougher finish, and we have big idiot cats.

I've applied [extra strong] skrim tape to all the joints, and used to roller to really push it on - compared to skrim direct onto an offcut of plasterboard, I'd say it's about 90% as strong adhesion.

While doing a little bit of Betokontakt on an area I missed, it occurred to me, can I further improve the adhesion of the skrim tape by applying a coat over the top? Betokontakt after all is basically glue and sand.

Well I’ve spoke to the cats and they call you big idiot Derek for not scrimming up first.
Was you planning on skimming after or tape and fill? Tile?
That's fair :)

Original plan was Betokontakt, then tape & fill, then paint - can't do that now though.

Current plan is Betokontakt, then skrim, [asking for opinions for] Betokontakt over skrim, 2 coats of skim, paint

No tiles on wall or ceiling (ceiling too low for shower).

Just scrim up and skim away then.
