I am covering the rear wall of a large inglenook fireplace, which houses a log burner, simply for decorative reason. I do not want to cover with permanent feature so therefore am fasting laths to brickwork and then hardiebacker boards. Any advice on what plaster finish and then paint is best on these boards is wecomed.
