bell cast bead

whats the best way to fix a bellcast bead,what i mean is do i go on the dpc ,above it or just below it .i will be rendering the plinth as well so the render will be going up to the bottom of bead. to me it just defeats the object if its done wrong :-\

Fix a thin stop bead (9.5mm max) to just under the dpc , then drop a drip or bell cast down over the top of the stop and that way you wont bridge the dpc, or render up to the dpc then cut off just below then drop your drip over the top , so as not to bridge the dpc
