??? ??? ??? do you fix bead then lay on the plaster or do you lay on the plaster then fix bead how do you do it and what do you use to fix it on with just done a job fixed bead then layed on is that right and i used muilti to fix it :o :o

if its on board I use clout nails to fix first if its re-skim I use either masonry nails or mix a bit of finish up to fix all beading prior to skimming.

i think i read on an earlier post (months ago) they don't work on uk beads, the sceptic tanks beads are slightly bigger, i might be wrong tho, my memories f**k*d!

iv used finish ti fix them but now i grip fill.. duno why fine it easy all ina tube im lazy sometimes

why not use multi finish, cant understand the problem to use anything else, can someone explain to me ???

never tried it mate, allways used multi, bonding etc, just tap the bead until the stuff comes through the holes and the slots, goes dead tight on to the corner, then check to make sure got coverage both sides of the bead by laying the trowel on edge of bead to the wall, nothing worse than seeing the bead grinnig through the skim if you know what i mean :)

i hold the labourers teeth against it and smack his head with a hammer .......sorted 8)

haha if i on board i use staples if i on any thing else i just use what ever im putting on the wall and do the bead as i get to it.

I bought a arrow stapler with all good intentions of using it about 3 years ago.... I still havent used it , must give it a go

mt have sorted out the crimper to fit our beads. Transtools have them in stock... Not used them tho, seem like a good idea if they work.
