a friend of mine has just boaded his box room out ready for me to go round and skim . he rings me up all excited telling me he,s finished and i can go skim anytime . i went round yesterday just to check his work... his boarding was spot on . but then i asked him why he didn,t use plasterboard . he,s gone and used base board . ive not come across this b4 is it still ok to skim on ??? will a couple of coats of pva do or is a bonding agent required???
