hi wondered if anyone knows if theres a price diffrence on board and skimming on a barn conversion just because of boarding and skimming between beams? but there is some nice long walls but they are over 2.4 so does the price change too, they are looking at £5 board/skim but need some advice as i dont work to per mtr ? and dont want to rip them off nor do i want to be out of pocket they are supplying as well

That seems a good price for that i have done a few and made mistakes on the pricing its like a loft conversion work it out on days and then break it up in to m2 price

Are you going direct? If you are I'd say it was a poor price if you were going through someone it could be ok but the ceilings could slow you right down you don't want to lose so much you lose money on the Walls too

Scaffolding is the key here mate, make sure you have enough on the job & set it out in steps when you're doing the skimming (if you know what I mean) - otherwise it can be a real ball-ache getting enough metre-age on. Also if the scaffold is too near to the ceiling you'll have big problems boarding out - plasterboard props really come into their own on these ceilngs too:RpS_thumbup:
