Hi all, have a bathroom I need to float to get level for tiling, plasterboard backerboard etc not an option and don't really have the time to wait 4 weeks to dry out,
I'm going to use either bal quickset cement or quickset render, but only stockist I can find is tops tiles, who I usually give a wide birth as their a bit pricey, anywhere know of somewhere I can get it, either around Birmingham area or any supplier online that I can get it delivered
Thanks

its expensive everywhere i think, 20quid/25kg for the render at topps innit? cant say ive seen it cheaper anywhere else for a while,

dunno mate, ring up BAL and ask them for suppliers in Brum. Then ring em up and play em off against one another :RpS_wink:

I looked at the BAL website this morning for him, they got a list of stockists there if ya bung in the city/town etc, mainly topps up there as stockists

Hi, thanks for replies, I had tried the bal website and as andy mentioned only really turns up tops tiles, I will give the chap at the tile place I use to see if he can order any in cheaper, I guesse the customer will have to pay £20 a bag , or stop being impatient , use normal cement and put up with bare plaster Walls for a few weeks

If you open a trade account at Tops you should get it quite a bit cheaper, there are addys available for green screeds now dont see why they wouldnt work on SC renders.

Ahh, yes .Bal do a green screed adhesive for floor tiles on newly laid floor screeds or concrete, will have to look into it to see if using it on Walls would be ok
