Was asked to do a wall by a friend , it's his dad's and he has had a kitchen fitted. The sparky has fitted the cooker and put bonding on the wall . I didn't ask the question but why would a sparky need to do that? It's a mess and I told him I would need to hack it back in places and put a tight coat of bonding to give a flat substrate to work off,I also think the two small units will be better coming off and refitted after the wall is skimmed.

Sounds like a typical case of "its alright the plasterer will sort it all out !!??" Get the sparky back to do his job properly!!! And trying to plaster round fitted kitchen units is a mare and your right to remove them first. Good luck with it :RpS_thumbup:

Units are removed and I have my uncle on call incase it all goes Pete tong! It's only a small job so now the units are gone I'm pretty confident :)
