What method do you use to cut in lines , wet or dry render . Just completed a huge job in London and the designer now wants a smoother finish so he wants it completely toupret and sanded so its like a internal finish and the ashlar re cut :RpS_bored:

what do you use to cut a stone disc in half? besides maybe another stone disc?

you could snap it easy enough i suppose?

No machine , all put on with trowel and rubbed and sponged up , week or two later we cut lines with half a stone blade , lovely jubbly

i use a half a stone cuttining disk there easy to break just put them on a piece of wood or sommat and step on it then rub both brocken edges on concrete to make good.the good thing using this method is no panic you do it when render is hard just mark and then run your half a disc along straight edge works a treat. if you want wider lines glue other halfs together

i use a disc cutter to cut the disk , nice straight line , and they come from 1mm up to 6mm , do i get a thank you:RpS_biggrin::RpS_lol::RpS_biggrin::RpS_lol:
