Applying a very thin coat of render over existing painted render

Anyone with any tips?
I have a customer who wants 2 exterior walls tidied up. Covering only 1 mtr up from damp course and feathered in to the original render coat
I'm looking to apply a very thin coat of render (2-3mm). Sand and cement is obviously a no no at that thickness.
Are there any products or solutions on the market that you are aware of.?
Any help is appreciated

Multi goes on at 2-3mm
