what's the thinest screed you can lay according (BS STANDARDS, or EURO STANDARDS ) ,as i know of a system going over styrofoam with mesh that is only 6mm for the floor and this seems to thin for a start !! any ideas from you tradesmen plasterers/screeders please ?

well it seems that it is technically a floating floor even tho the insulation is stuck to the floor like EWI then mashed , but the best i can find is 40mm thick using Flow-screed standard S&C would be 65 mm plus !! how are they comming -up with 6mm then?

Have you mis-read it? Is it not the foam that's 6mm mate?
