Any considerations before tiling porch roof awaiting EWI

Hello chaps,

Getting full house renovation done and will be having EWI done. Porch roof has been constructed but battens etc not set out yet.

Is there anything to consider when laying out the tiles that could make the EWI installation easier, more aesthetically pleasing etc?

Dunno, but EWI is fitted around whatever’s there. Not sure about working around it after it’s fitted. @Arti

you will be able to allow the thickness of the insulation plus the thickness of the finish that you have chosen.

Plus a decent bit of over hang at least 70mm so no water can run down the rendered surface.
