Another quickie

Hi lads if you float up a wall and use the bigger float beads for your backing plaster. Do you then need to put skims beads over the flaot beads or can you just skim using the float beads?

when you have floated up to the render bead cut a little back from the bead then skim to it as normal

as long as u dont go proud of the bead- there shouldnt be any need to put skim beads on top

you can put them on top though if you want. The corners are sharper with thincoat beads.

You shouldn't have to just cut them back and rule the wall properly
