On what coat should angle bead be applied when rendering? Before the scratch coat or after? It seems if it's applied before the scratch coat, only two thin coats can be applied. Am I right?

Not if you put on thick dabs and squeeze the wings of the bead together, which is what I prefer to do then the bead seems to be held more securely.

i always bead after the scratch wouldnt mind putting beads up first though i bet they go up a lot easier ..........dont youre bellcasts get damaged from dropping render on them ?

It all depend on the job if the walls in question need straightening up then put them on after, but if not wack em on first. I always prefer to bead up first then sratch to the beads the jobs always goes smoother that way ;)

Whats the4 best way to fix bellcasts I always struggle.

I always nail mine on and to make fixing easier I use a brick pin to hold the other end of the bead up while nailing, it's like having another pair of hands.

Nail em up as andy says and use electric clips as they pretty much go into anything and you have the plastic clip to fasten into the mesh.
