alternative to casting plaster for stopping in

got a small job to fix some cornice , got no casting plaster in van and nowhere here sells the stuff! what else could i use?(only ever done it with casting plaster ) did see another spread a few years ago was using something wasnt casting plaster but left perfect mitres thanks stuy

Multie finish I've done the last two with multie but the last one I put a bit if cement just to speed it up, all painted and looks sweet.

Can use multi finish. Or bg joint filler

thanks mike whats the set like on the joint filler? when you fix mate what type of gaps do you leave for stopping and wadding etc.. size i mean!! was always taught 10mm?

cut the mitres very tight and use top coat on each end of mitre rub down, just like gyp cove
