Hi All, I'm having some work done at the moment (conservatory) and have a question about a block wall that's been built.
The base and walls were built a week or so ago and the glass is due to go up next week. My concern is that one of the side walls is about six inches from next doors wall, as the wall is made from breeze blocks it can't be rendered (too close). The builders say that this is ok and that there are paints that will cover it all and be watertight (using a pole to apply it). Is this ok and if not what should I do?
Oh another thing is that due to the rain I covered the walls with sheeting to stop the insulation getting soaked, its a bit wet will it be ok?
Cheers
Rob

the insulation will dry out so no need to worry. i would have thought any sort of weather resistant paint would be ok with a few coats applied. i say weather resistant as it will degrade over time(5/10yrs)

No its not OK I build loads of connys and on walls like that its always engineering bricks with waterproofer in the morter you are being ripped of.
