Advice needed

Got a problem with some artex, had to repair a stipple artex ceiling. Stripped the old artex off and gave it a tight skim coat of mutli last week. Today I unibonded the ceiling and when it was dry I gave it a stipple coat.

Client has just phoned to say the whole artex has crazied anyone got any ideas why this may have happened

Shouldve used artex sealer mate.
Can react with pva sometimes.
Other reason could be excessive suction.

I always 2 coat with artex sealer on bare plaster.
How many coats of unibond did you give it?

I used PVA before and left it for a few days and never had any problems, however today I gave it a strong coat of pva as the plaster was bone dry (retired couple with the heating on 24/7) went and had some breakfast then straight on with the artex big misake.
You-re right Nisus I should have used artex sealer.
Thats what happens when you get old, you lose the plot and start making stupid misakes.
