Hi,

Recently bought a 1920's semi and there are a few areas where the plaster has delaminated from the wall. The worst spots are around the windows where the plaster is sagging. I've knocked off some plaster and this is what's underneath. Would you recommend dabbing and boarding or hard plastering back the walls here, and around the windows?Link RemovedLink RemovedLink Removed

When you start taking it off you will take the whole wall off... whether you do it now or in 5 years... When I have done them in the past I take them all back to brick and used Hardwall Some people wanted them dabbed but I would always try and get them to hardwall them

Off.....all off.....all of it. It's the right thing to do.

External wall, will need to be roughed with sand and cement good glug of waterproofer.
