Adding plasticiser to render made with Lime

I've never tried hydrated lime in a render mix before so do you still add some plasticiser, like febmix, when using lime

Yes Feb or a waterproof admix

shouldn't need a lot it's a natural plastersizer lime

I didn't supply it but I think I've seen it in RGB, been rendering with silver sand but no lime but it's mixing up nice with the free flo

This is what I've been doing silver sand 5:1 with free flo additive, rendering a house. Nice curved chimney. We're going to prime the render and finish with a silicone based top coat rubbed up with one of those little plastic trowels. Subbying for JDA plastering in Paignton
