ok i need you to take a pick of each step in the process and also explanations to accompany each photo thanx
p.s. when are you starting? today or tomorrow? ;D

i've started now. i've got loads of 2x2ft mdf practice boards. just don the first coat on a couple, i've got to let it dry for a couple of hours then give it a very light sand. i'm going to take a pic of each process. hopefully it'll look the muts nuts. render systems has got some videos on youtube how to do it.

Make sure you get it on real thin, or it tends to peel, especially if you have tapped off any areas, when you peel the tape away.

i've only give it a first coat so far, the lime wall finish stuff. got white plaster and pigments to mix it myself. any tips on a nice colour to try kebab?

Depends on the light in the room , i did a black n white ceiling in a office, it looked the muts nuts.Anything well pollished tends to have a good effect.Just rember to measure your mixes, even if your practising, cos if you really like the colour you will probablly never match it exact again.
