Can they be used and trust after use by date john? I've had 2 tubs of wetherby gear in my shed for ages I imagine well out of date

Gear I got is within. Some bucket coat has 6 year life.
Dryvit Parex etc pretty good but I have noticed some others distil quicker and u get like a clear liquid on the top if its like that chuck it.

At the end of the day paint looks and smells OK it generally is ok

like any other paint based gear keeps for a long time, keeping it away from low temps is the key otherwise it goes to mush.
